We’ve all been there; we just washed our sheets and it’s time to make the bed but the thought of putting the duvet cover back on is looming. You probably hate this chore as much as all of us and have moaned about how there must be an easier way.

Well, if you’re out of options, try this trick! Firstly, make sure your duvet cover is inside out. There’s no need to climb inside the cover and try and match all the corners. This is how your duvet gets bumpy and inconsistent. Now lay the duvet cover inside out across your bed with the opening at the bottom. Now place the duvet on top of the duvet cover and match all the corners. Flip the cover right side out while holding on the corners of the duvet and slowly slide the cover over the duvet.

Once the duvet cover is right side out and the duvet is inside, hold onto all corners (duvet and duvet cover) and give everything a big shake to smooth everything out. With that new freshly made bed, you can head out for a day enjoying Toronto on this neighbourhood, knowing you’ll come home to a clean bed.  Sleep well!
