About the Management Company
Summerhill Properties has been privately owned and managed for over 25 years. Because it is family-run, there is a personal emphasis on the upkeep and maintenance of our buildings and the care of our residents. Our management office is conveniently located in The Summerhill, making our staff and management accessible to our residents. There is always someone to turn to – whether it’s to water a plant while you’re away, complete a maintenance request, or simply ask a question. About Our Community
You’ll love getting to know the community at Summerhill Properties. Our communities are as diverse as the residents who call our rental apartment buildings home. From the resident who played “O Canada” on his trumpet in honour of first responders, to the tenants that maintain our “public library”, from those who rally around residents who are elderly, sick or just need a helping hand, to our Thursday morning coffee group and our still secret “elf on a shelf”, our tenants make our buildings home. They also look beyond our community, giving with past donations to Sick Kids Foundation and Value Village. Come and be inspired by our communities.
About Our Staff
We are so proud of the commitment and loyalty of our staff. On average, our staff hold more than ten years of experience with our company. Many have been promoted within the company to new levels of responsibility – and they take those responsibilities seriously. They are driven to provide the highest level of service and to ensure the health, safety and comfort of each of our residents. Whether it’s a simple request or a late night emergency, they’re there to help. In 2020, we introduced The Summerhill Student Scholarship program to recognize children of our employees who go on to higher education and we were thrilled to award three in that very first year.
